The salvaged wood mantle set the tone for this beautiful fireplace, along with the flue and arched design that we custom built. An artistic craftsman job where great communication and solid craftsmanship merged to create a beautiful center piece for the main room of this residential home.

We believe in taking photos of our process to best share with you what ultimately goes into creating the work we do. Everything takes time and the only way to share that is by being transparent of the entire process.

The photos show the progression from first placement, framing of the flue then the framing the arch, sub-contracting out the sheet rocking, sub-contracting the painting, custom re-working wood sections, sub-contracting Carrara marble and final painting.

This fireplace proves to be a warm statement and timeless design.  A win win for this new custom built residential home on Whidbey Island.
